Shannon Calhoun, 47, of Bridgeport, has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after he was found in possession of a .40 caliber handgun on May 22. At the time of his arrest, Calhoun was also in possession of approximately eight pounds of marijuana and hundreds of dollars in cash. Parolee Found With Firearms, Ammunition, 8 Pounds Of Pot, Cash In Bridgeport Bust, Police Say A parolee from Bridgeport was allegedly nabbed during a compliance check with a cache of weapons, ammo, drugs, and cash, Bridgeport Police said. Shannon Calhoun, 47, was arrested on Wednesday, May 22, by state patrol officers, assisted by members of the Bridgeport Police Narcotics Unit at his residence, said Bridgeport Police Capt.
