A 19-car-pileup during the height of the Nor'easter was one of numerous storm-related crashes in the region, although most motorists stayed off roadways. At least six people were injured in the multi-vehicle crash that shut down part of the Henry Hudson Parkway in upper Manhattan Wednesday, Dec. 16 during the evening hours as the snow was beginning to pile-up. All lanes have reopened after a serious motor-vehicle crash involving a state police cruiser and a tractor-trailer resulted in the closure of a stretch of I-684 late Friday morning. The crash, reported just before 10:30 a.m., occurred northbound between the Saw Mill Parkway (Exit 5) in Katonah and Route 172 (Exit 4) in Bedford.
