CT Man Wanted For Killing Wife, Injuring Son Commits Suicide, Police Say
A man wanted for killing his wife and injuring his son in Connecticut committed suicide when stopped by police out of state.
New Haven County resident Solomon Roberts Sr., age 44, of Waterbury, died when stopped by Virginia State Police around 11 a.m., on Tuesday, March 7, said Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police.
Catherine Roberts, age 45, and Solomon Roberts Jr., age 19, were shot around 5 a.m., Tuesday, March 7 at 100 Mark Lane in Waterbury, Bessette said.

CT Shooting Leaves Man, 18, Dead, Cops Say
An 18-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death on a city street.
The incident took place in Waterbury just after midnight on Thursday, July 21 on Willow Street.
The man was found when Waterbury Police officers responded to a complaint of shots fired in the area of Willow Street, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police.
During an investigation, officers located evidence of shots fired and a male victim who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, Bessette said.
The victim, of Waterbury, was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance personnel, he added.
