CT State Police Release Sites, Times For Holiday Roving Patrols Connecticut State Police will be out in force during the holiday season, targeting distracted or impaired drivers on area highways. Troopers will be assigned to conduct roving patrols for nearly two weeks beginning on Friday, Dec. 20, as the roadways are expected to be filled with motorists traveling to see friends and family.
