Service Area Along Hutchinson River Parkway To Temporarily Close
State officials issued an alert to Westchester County motorists about the temporary closure of a service area along the Hutchinson River Parkway.The New York State Department of Transportation said the Mamaroneck River Service Area, located along the Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) and Exit 14 (North Street) in White Plains, is set to close on Monday, Sept. 12, beginning at midnight. CT Home Being Renovated Suffers 'Catastrophic' Damage After Blaze Breaks Out
A Connecticut home undergoing renovations was destroyed by a "catastrophic" early morning fire that took firefighters at least an hour to get under control. The West Hartford Fire Department responded to the fire at 711 Prospect Ave., around 6:24 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, said Fire Chief Greg H. Priest.
