Duo Nabbed For Firing Gun From Vehicle In Fairfield County, Police Say Two Fairfield County men have been arrested for allegedly firing gunshots out of a car while driving around the region.  John Blackwell, age 31, and Alston Powell, age 53, both of Bridgeport, were arrested by Fairfield Police after police responded to 911 calls of shots fired in the area of Fairfield Woods Road and Stillson Road. According to Lt. Edward Weihe, of the Fairfield Police, the men were seen putting their arms out the open windows of the vehicle and firing a pistol in the area.  At least four gunshots were fire, he added.
