Thief Steals Bag With Cash After Woman Woman Briefly Takes A Few Steps Away, Darien Police Say
A purse snatcher stole donated groceries and cash from a woman visiting Person-to-Person in Darien. A woman was at Person-to-Person on Post Road shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 to inquire as to how she could obtain their services, police said. According to police, as she exited the building, the woman placed her bag down on the ground momentarily, took a few steps forward to see if a ride arrived and when she turned around, the bag was gone.
