20-Year-Old Nabbed With Gun, Drugs In Norwalk, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was busted with a gun, ammo, and drugs after a police officer was notified of a suspicious vehicle.
The incident occurred in Norwalk around 10:50 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6 in the parking garage at 30 Day St.
When the officer went to check out the "suspicious" vehicle, he noticed a Glock 9mm handgun on the driver's side floorboard of the vehicle, said Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police.
Officers also found a 33-round high-capacity magazine and oxycodone during a search, Dinho said.

The leader of a New Haven crack cocaine and oxycodone drug ring has been sentenced to six years in federal prison.
Jermayne Butler - aka: “Main,” “Main Live,” “Liver” - age 39, of New Haven, was sentenced Monday, Aug. 10 to 78 months in federal prison followed by four years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut.
In August of 2019, Butler pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute, and to possess with intent to distribute, cocaine base “cack,” the Attorney’s Office said. Butler has been released on a $200,000 bond and is to report to prison in 90 days. …
Bridgeport Man Sentenced For Distributing Oxycodone
A drug dealer distributing oxycodone in Fairfield County is heading to prison after pleading guilty last year.
Jordan Rodofsky, 57, of Bridgeport, was sentenced to 24 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, oxycodone.

An investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County has led to the arrest of two men and netted the discovery of a kilo of heroin, guns, pounds of pot, and pills.
Kevin Tobar, 23, and Jonathan Matos, 28, both of Stratford, were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, by Stratford Police, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.
According to Eannotti, the two were arrested on a warrant by the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit, with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Task Force as well as the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.

Two Norwalk men were nabbed for drug dealing following a joint narcotics investigation between Norwalk and Stamford police.
Dominico Sandalo, 45, and Ioannis Papachristou, 37, were busted on Thursday, June 6, when officers from the Norwalk Special Services Division and the Stamford Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit conducted a joint narcotics investigation into Sandalo, said Norwalk Police Lt.
