Greenwich Woman Nabbed For DUI At Darien Train Station Following Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was nabbed for alleged DUI following a crash at a train station. The incident occurred in Darien at around 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Noroton Heights Train Station on Heights Road.  According to Sgt. Mauricio Vigil of the Darien Police, responding officers found a silver 2008 Kia Spectra with significant damage after it collided with a telephone pole.  The driver, identified as Alexis Jordan, age 33, of Greenwich, appeared to be under the influence with slurred speech, Vigil said. Man Accused Of Burglarizing Wells Fargo Bank In Darien A 26-year-old man is facing charges after investigators reported that he burglarized a bank in Fairfield County. Police responded to a burglar alarm at Wells Fargo Bank in Darien, located at 310 Heights Road, at about 3:40 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, the Darien Police Department said.  Officers discovered a shattered window and received a description of the suspect from security footage, authorities said. Darien Scooter Thief Nabbed In Waterbury, Police Say A 30-year-old man was nabbed for allegedly stealing two scooters from an area train station last year. Demtrice Thompson was arrested on a warrant in Fairfield County for allegedly stealing the two vehicles from the Noroton Heights Train Station in Darien in September 2019, said Sgt. James Palmieri.
