NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Nico Antonio Mallozzi, age 10 of New Canaan, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 14.
He was the beloved son of Joseph and Mimma Mallozzi of New Canaan. Nico was born in Norwalk on December 1, 2007. Known for his spirit and vitality, he was an avid hockey player, spending most days in the company of his much-loved team, the CTRoughRiders. When surrounded by his head coach and friend, Tomasz Piatek, and the many devoted coaches and players at Sono Ice House, Nico was truly in his element.
