Darien Stop For Missing License Plate Leads To Drug Charges For Man, Police Say
A Bridgeport man is facing drug charges after police say he was pulled over for a missing license plate in Darien.
Darien Police say they stopped a vehicle that was missing a front license plate on Old Kings Highway North on Monday, June 24 around 11:45 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that the registration plate of the vehicle, a 2014 Toyota Corolla, actually belonged on an Acura, police say.
The vehicle was determined to be unregistered, and the license plate being used belonged on another vehicle owned by the driver, identified as Nathan Leon, 72, of Bridgeport, according to police. …
