Darien Police Will Ramp Up Distracted Driving Details Police in Darien are teaming with other departments in Fairfield County in a concerted effort to curtail distracted driving. During the month of April, police departments throughout Fairfield will be conducting a “distracted driving - high visibility enforcement campaign,” to cut down on motorists using handheld devices while operating their motor vehicles.
