A 21-year-old man faces charges after trying to steal from vehicles in a Connecticut parking lot, police announced. The arrest stemmed from an incident on Saturday, June 1 around 1:15 a.m., when a suspicious person was seen trying to open locked cars in the Center Street parking lot in Darien, according to Darien Police. Man Violated Protection Order By Staying At Victim's Residence, Darien Police Say
A Fairfield County man is in trouble with the law after allegedly staying at an ex-girlfriend’s house while she was staying at a hotel, in violation of a court order of protection, police said. A woman came to Darien Police Headquarters stating that Darien resident James Reilly, 59, had violated a restraining offer that had been applied for due to a physical altercation the two had during their relationship.
