19: Will You Get A Coronavirus Vaccine? Here's Percentage Who Said Yes In New Survey
Based on a survey of 20,000 worldwide conducted by the World Economic Forum, about three-quarters of people say they would get a COVID-19 vaccine if one was available. Among that 74 percent, 37 percent "strongly agree" that they will get a vaccine, while 37 percent somewhat agree. In the United States, 67 percent of those polled would get an inoculation against COVID-19 if one were available. Former Trumbull Women's Club and Welcome Wagon President, Sally Garrick, Dies At 103
Sally Dorothea Toth Garrick, 103, died on Sept. 22 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. Born in Fairfield, she was the last of 10 children born to Hungarian parents, Joseph and Suzanna Kanotz Toth. She enjoyed swimming and golf. She married architect Joseph E. Garrick in 1940 and remained married for 65 years until his death in 2004. Sally and Joe traveled to various European countries on several occasions. An exhibition on refugees and immigrants at the Fairfield Museum & History Center won a national award. The museum received an Award of Excellence for the exhibition An American Story: Finding Home in Fairfield County from the American Association for State and Local History—AASLH.
