CT Driver Dies After Crashing Into Semi In 1-95 Rest Area A 63-year-old man died after crashing a car into a semi-truck at a rest area in Connecticut. The crash happened in New Haven County in the Milford Rest Area on I-95 southbound near Exit 41 at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, Connecticut State Police reported. Police said a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S struck the rear of a 2016 Freightliner Tractor that was stopped in the fire lane of the rest area. Authorities said it is not known why the Nissan struck the Freightliner.  The driver of the Nissan, identified as Brian Lambert, of West Haven, was killed in the crash, authorities said.&n…

CT Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Box Truck A Connecticut pedestrian was killed after being hit by a Freightliner box truck. The man 68-year-old man was killed in New Haven County around 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the intersection of East Main Street at North Elm Street in Waterbury. According to Lieutenant Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police, when officers responded to the scene they found the victim and transported him to St. Mary's Hospital where he died from his injuries. CT Man Facing Charges After Fatal Mass Turnpike Crash One person was killed in a crash involving a Freightliner tractor-trailer, a 2020 Toyota Camry, and a 2008 Toyota Sienna van in Western Massachusetts.
