Principal In Darien Placed On Leave Pending Investigation Students at one Fairfield County school found a new principal at the helm on Thursday after their former leader was placed on leave pending an investigation. Darien's Hindley Elementary Principal DJ Collela has been placed on leave, the district told parents in a letter sent last month.
