Eversource Launches $80M Tree Trimming Project Eversource has invested $80 million in tree-trimming projects across 4,000 miles of electric lines in Connecticut this year. That money will help the company remove hazardous trees to make the Eversource service more reliable to customers, the utility said in a news release.
