Headmaster, Other Employees Placed On Leave During Criminal Investigation At Shelton HS Days after Shelton High School Principal Beth Smith was placed on administrative leave for an unknown reason,  authorities have revealed that at least two other staffers have been placed on leave as well. Superintendent Dr. Chris Clouet told the Shelton Herald Smith was placed on paid administrative leave on Thursday, March 28, over what Clouet termed a “personnel matter.” Clouet added that the state’s attorney office and Shelton Police Department are conducting a “criminal investigation involving multiple staff members” at the school, said the Shelton Herald.
