Assault During Argument Leads To Fairfield County Man's Arrest, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was charged with assault after allegedly attacking two people during an argument.
The incident took place in Westport, around 9:15 a.m., on Sunday, April 10.
Akhmad Nasution, age 50, of Westport, turned himself in to police on Tuesday, May 10, and was charged with disorderly conduct, said Lt. David Wolf, of the Westport Police.
An investigation into the incident found that Nasution assaulted two individuals during an argument, Wolf said.
Nasution was held on a $5,000 bond.
Man Accused Of Assaulting Woman At CT Red Roof, Not Allowing Her To Leave
A Connecticut man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel room and not allowing her to leave.
The New Haven County incident took place in Milford on Friday, April 22.
When police arrived at the Red Roof Inn, 10 Rowe Ave., an investigation found Troy Gosbin, age 29, of Milford, assaulted the woman in the room and refused to let her leave, said the Milford Police Department.
He also choked the woman during the altercation, restricting her airway, and she sustained minor injuries to her face, neck, and arms, police added.

A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing a woman in the face multiple times and then holding her hostage.
Quentin Lewis, age 28, of Stamford, was arrested around 3 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, after he turned himself in to police on a warrant for the incident which took place on Saturday, March 19.
The woman was found by a Connecticut state trooper who was driving in the area of Broad Street bleeding from her face, said Capt. Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police.

Man Starts Fire At Starbucks In Fairfield County, Fights Officers, Police Say
A man was arrested after allegedly starting a fire at a Starbucks in Fairfield County and then fighting with police.
Joseph Graff, age 26, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 10, after police responded to the coffee shop in Greenwich.
Once police arrived on the scene, they found that Graff had started a fire on the side of the building on Greenwich Avenue and began resisting arrest by running into the highway, blocking traffic, said Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the Greenwich Police.

Man Accused Of Using Pepper Spray Inside Fairfield County Business
A man was charged with assault for allegedly using pepper spray on employees inside a Fairfield County business, sending one to the hospital.
Freddie Trowell, age 29, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 23, after police responded to a business on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport, according to authorities.
Trowell allegedly entered the unidentified business and sprayed a substance, and ran out, said Scott Appleby, Bridgeport's director of Emergency Management.
