Accused Porch Pirate Charged With Stealing Package From Byram Residence, Police Say A 24-year-old man suspected of stealing a package from the front door of an area residence has been arrested, Greenwich Police say. A subject allegedly stole a package off the front door of a residence on Henry Street in Byram on Thursday, Oct. 25. Upon further investigation, Bridgeport resident David Giacomara was identified as the responsible person. Police arrested Giacomara Thursday, Dec. 13 after getting a warrant. Passenger Who Provided False Name Caught With Drugs, Weapon, Greenwich Police Say A 24-year-old man who was already known to police in the area was busted with a host of drugs and a weapon after he tried to pull a fast one on officers in Greenwich. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department conducted a traffic stop on West Putnam Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, when the drivers committed a violation. During that stop, police said that they were given probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants.
