CT 18-Year-Old, Grandfather Nabbed For Making Illegal AR-15s, Police Say
Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, police in Connecticut arrested an 18-year-old man and his grandfather for allegedly making illegal assault rifles.
The two were arrested in Middlesex County in the Town of East Hampton on Monday, May 16.
According to the East Hampton Police, after receiving a call from a concerned citizen about a resident making AR-15 assault rifles, the department began an investigation that led to the arrest of Clayton Hobby, age 18, and Kerry Schunk, age 64, both of East Hampton.

Norwalk Man Caught With Cocaine, Pot In Traffic Stop
A routine traffic stop led to a host of drug charges for a 43-year-old man who was found in possession of cocaine, marijuana and other paraphernalia, police said.
Officers from the Milford Police Department stopped a motorist on Lansdale Avenue near the intersection of Bridgeport Avenue, at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, police said that Norwalk resident Christopher Hayes, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of marijuana, cocaine and a glass smoking devices.

Felon Caught With Gun In Stamford Park
Police nabbed a convicted felon for possession of a gun and drugs after receiving a tip that he would be at a Stamford park.
Travis Vanterpool-Gordon, 22, of Stamford, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a hallucinogen, criminal possession of a gun and interfering with police following a search on Tuesday around 10:30 p.m., according to Capt. Richard Conklin.
Officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad received word that Vanterpool-Gordon, described as a black male with dreadlocks, 5-foot-9, was at Hatchfield Park off Perry Street with a gun, Conklin said.
