Greenwich Ferrari Heist: Teen, Man Accused Of Stealing Multiple Luxury Cars A Connecticut teen and 22-year-old man with long criminal histories are accused of stealing a $575,000 Ferrari from Greenwich and later an Acura from New York, authorities said. Michelle Lynn Gschlect, who lived in New Haven, formerly known as Richard Gschlect, pleaded guilty in district court this week to one count of child pornography following her arrest in 2019. The investigation began after the incident on Saturday, Aug. 29 when a male patient, Rodney Daniels, of Stamford, was at Norwalk Hospital because of PCP usage. Bridgeport resident Rocky Samas, also known as “Twin,” was found guilty following a two-day trial of one count of possession with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base, and one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.  Durham said that between August and October last year, police investigators conducted three controlled purchases of crack cocaine from Samas in Bridgeport prior to his arrest. …

Fairfield County Man Sentenced For Months-Long Bank Robbery Spree A Fairfield County man who threatened to kill bank employees during an armed robbery and later engaged in a standoff with police has been sentenced to nearly a decade behind bars following his seven-month crime spree. Bryce Alexander Laister, 26, formerly of Bridgeport and Stratford, has been sentenced to 107 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after he pleaded guilty to robbing five Connecticut banks between November 2016 and June 2017.
