Escaped Convict Eludes Capture Again In Fairfield County Chase, Police Say Police spent hours searching for an escaped convict who was a passenger in an alleged stolen vehicle in Fairfield County. The incident began around 10:47 a.m., Monday, April 5, when a Greenwich Police detective spotted a suspected stolen vehicle in February from Cos Cos Avenue while on South Beach Avenue, said Greenwich Police Captain Mark Zuccerella. The detective put out a call to patrol officers who began looking for the vehicle, Zuccerella said. Report Of Sleeping Driver In BMW Leads To DUI Charge For Greenwich Man A Greenwich man is facing DUI charges after police say he was sleeping in his vehicle. Greenwich Police say they responded to the junction of Valley Road and Cos Cob Avenue after receiving a report of an individual sleeping or passed out behind the wheel of a black BMW with the engine still running on Sunday, June 16 around 6:30 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupant, identified as Ace Aguilar, 21, of Greenwich, had red, glassy eyes, according to police.
