Wildfire In Connecticut State Park Contained A wildfire in a Connecticut state park has been contained after burning for a day. A fire in the Potash Brook area of the Natchaug State Forest in Windham was extinguished in the evening on Thursday, Sept. 17. Wildfire consumed 94 acres of parkland, said the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
