Body Found In Water Near Bridgeport Harbor Power Plant Police are reporting the discovery of a dead body in the water near the Bridgeport Harbor Power Plant. The body was discovered around 1147 a.m., Monday, Sept. 30, in the area of 1 Atlantic St., said Rowena White, spokesperson for the Bridgeport Police Department. "At this time all public safety and emergency departments are at the scene to recover the body," White said. Bridgeport firefighters BFD assisted with the recovery from the water and turned the body over to the state’s Medical Examiner, White said. Man Admits To Distributing Xanax Following Fatality A Fairfield County drug dealer has admitted to distributing counterfeit Xanax in the area that led to a fatal overdose. Shelton resident Kamil Golebiowski, 27, has pleaded guilty in New Haven district court to one count of distribution of alprazolam, also known as Xanex, following an investigation into the death of a 29-year-old man.
