Man Lights Illegal Fireworks, Causing Large Brush Fire In Fairfield County, Police Say A man has been charged with lighting illegal fireworks that caused a large brush fire to break out in Fairfield County, police say. Steven Botelho, 38, of Fairfield was arrested on Monday, Aug. 24 in connection to the incident that happened earlier this summer. Details Released In Fairfield Crash That Killed Man, 22 Details have been released regarding the crash that killed a 22-year-old man early Saturday morning in the Town of Fairfield. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 1:40 a.m. on Kings Highway East at the intersection of Chestnut Stree, Town of Fairfield Police said. Preliminary investigation revealed that Austin J.
