New Haven County resident Walter Spencer, aged 64, of Waterbury, was arrested on Wednesday, June 14 on 10 charges in relation to the 2022 crash in Cheshire which Connecticut State Police claim he caused. Trio Wanted For Stealing $10K Worth Of Items In Smash-Grab At CT T-Mobile Police are searching for three teens who entered a T-Mobile store and destroyed a display case before making off with more than $10,000 in merchandise. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Naugatuck T-Mobile store on Rubber Avenue, said the Naugatuck Police.  All three suspects were described as being teens and 5-foot-10 to 6-feet.  There were no injuries during the incident. State Police Probe Officer-Involved Shooting In Cheshire Connecticut State Police have launched an investigation into an officer-involved shooting involving the Cheshire Police Department that occurred during a domestic incident over the weekend. Cheshire Police officers responded to the incident on Fairway Drive of Route 10 in Cheshire at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 22. Man Taken Into Custody For Writing Bad $5K Check In Westport A Fairfield County man who was wanted for writing a bad $5,000 check to a Westport resident was tracked down by police over the weekend and taken into custody. An investigation was launched late last year, when Cheshire resident Jonathan Martin, 36, allegedly wrote a Westport resident the bad check, and after several unsuccessful attempts to collect the monies due, Martin’s victim filed a police report on Oct. 6 last year, which led to a warrant for his arrest.
