A Fairfield County woman with a warrant out for her arrest was taken into custody after allegedly shoplifting more than $400 worth of merchandise from Marshalls in Milford, police said. Members of the Milford Police Department responded to Marshalls on Boston Post Road at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, where there was a report of a shoplifter who had been stopped by store employees. A 22-year-old man driving a motor scooter was killed after he was involved in a fatal crash with an SUV, police said. First responders from the Milford Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the intersection of Bridgeport Avenue and Boston Post Road at approximately 12 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, where there was a report of a “serious” crash involving a scooter and SUV.
