Norwalk Man Cashed Faked Checks From Other People's Accounts, New Canaan Police Say A wanted 23-year-old man who allegedly created counterfeit checks and cashed them in others’ names turned himself in to police custody this week. Andy Mitchell-Maynard of Norwalk surrendered at the New Canaan Police Department on Thursday on the active warrant. He was arrested and charged with forgery, larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and conspiracy dating back to incidents earlier this year.
