Wrong-Way Driver Apprehended After I-95 DUI Crash In Darien: Police Connecticut State Police say a wrong-way driver caused a multi-car crash on I-95 that led to his arrest. Troopers from Troop G in Fairfield County responded to the northbound lanes near the Darien rest area at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, after receiving reports of a collision.  Upon arrival, they found a Jeep Liberty SUV facing the wrong direction, police said.  Further investigation revealed the vehicle had been traveling southbound in the northbound lanes prior to the crash. Four Fairfield County Residents Charged With DWI In NY Stops New York State Police troopers arrested 20 drivers in the area for allegedly driving while impaired. Local residents charged include:  Westchester County On Friday, Oct. 11, State Police from Somers arrested Joseph Salerno, 51, of Lewisboro, for DWI. He was traveling on Old Pond Road in the town of Lewisboro, when he was interviewed during a welfare check. Man Found Asleep In Car With Engine Running Charged With DUI, Greenwich Police Say A 36-year-old man is facing DUI charges after Greenwich Police allegedly found him sleeping in his car on the wrong side of the road with the engine running just after midnight on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Police responded to reports of a vehicle on the wrong side of the road that was facing oncoming traffic. The vehicle was on and the ignition was running, according to police.
