Nearly 1,400 runners, most of them from Fairfield County, competed in the Minute Man Race on Sunday at Westport's Compo Beach. The event featured a 10K, 5K and children's races. The Westport Young Women's League sponsored the races.
Westport's Tom Harding and Norwalk's Leslie Sporre won the men's and women's 10Ks, respectively. Weston's Andi Rosenblatt, 13, and Norwalk's Noredine Abdelfateh won the 5Ks.
