The finals of the LaVista boys and girls basketball tournaments will be played Wednesday at New Canaan and Darien High Schools.
The girls consolation game tips off at 3 p.m. at Darien and features New Canaan against Greenwich. Darien meets Foran at 5 p.m. in the girls title game.
In the boys tournament at New Canaan, the Rams meet Darien in the consolation game at 5 p.m., and Greenwich meets Career Magnet in the championship game at 7 p.m.
In Tuesday's games, Foran nipped New Canaan, 39-37, on Jasmine Rodriguez's basket as time expired. Sarah Mannelly scored 10 points to lead New Canaan. Darien defeated Greenwich, 49-25, behind 17 points from Meg Marren.
In the boys tournament, Greenwich topped Darien, 44-31, behind 16 points by Tito Morales and Career Magnet topped the Rams, 59-42.
