Darien Versus Trinity Boys Soccer Video

DARIEN, Conn -- Darien High boys socccer enjoyed another chapter of their dream season, by beating Trinity Catholic on Friday 6-0. The Blue Wave is the FCIAC's biggest surprise of the season, leading the league with a 9-1-2 record.

Trinity Catholic, now at 1-8-0, was not ready to challenge the red hot Blue Wave. Darien was fresh off of it's win over Connecticut #2 ranked Staples 24 hours earlier. Graham Helgans scored a hat trick, and Spencer McMullin, Brendan Branca and Greyson Horan also scored. Assists came from Branca (2), McMullin, Helgans, Ben Highton and Kevin Steinthal. Jack Fisher and Jeff Sload shared goalie duties for Darien with three saves.

Trinity's keeper Lorenzo Foroni was fired on 20 times, saving 14.
