DARIEN, Conn. The Darien 6th grade Wave football team lost a hard-fought battle Saturday to Fairfield, 7-0, in a Fairfield County Football League game.
It was the third straight 7-0 setback for Darien, the previous loses being to Wilton and Ridgefield. The Wave looks to get on the winning track Saturday when it plays Westport South in Westport at 9 a.m.
