In this video, Darien High School varsity football head coach Rob Trifone discusses the difficult road ahead this season for the Blue Wave. Darien has high expectations, playing in probably the toughest division in the FCIAC with New Canaan, St. Joseph's and an improved Trinity Catholic.
Darien finished 7-3 in 2009 with a relatively young team. Trifone said he is encouraged by the depth of his offensive and defensive lines.
Darien kicks off its season Sept. 16 at home against division rival Fairfield Warde. Video shot and edited by Eric Gendron.
