While the host club for the event is the Country Club of Darien, matches also will be played in Greenwich, New Canaan, Rowayton, Wilton, Weston, Fairfield, Stamford, Easton, Ridgefield and Rye.
In total, 33 sites and facilities will be in use during the three-day doubles tournament, as 500 men and women from across the country are expected to compete.
There will be plenty of local talent on display, like defending national champion and Rowayton native Jared Palmer, last year's finalist Mark Parsons of Norwalk, two-time national champion Viktoria Stoklasova, formerly of Wilton, and masters national champions Cynthia Dardis of Stamford and Amy Shay of Wilton.
The event is free to attend, and the association will donate the net profits to the Connecticut Alliance for Tennis + Education.
“We’re expecting over 1,000 on-site spectators during the weekend who will be treated to outstanding competition from the best in the sport,” said tournament organizing committee chairman Mark Fischl in a statement.
Fischl also said live Internet broadcasts will be available.
