The workshops foster academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn while reducing stress.
The workshop is open to all area students who are entering grades 5 to 8. Classes will be Aug. 12 to 14 from 10 a.m. to 12;30 p.m. at Mathnasium, located at 15 Corbin Drive in Darien. They are taught by accredited teachers and class size is limited to 15 students.
The S4 program is designed to provide students with the skills and strategies needed for academic confidence, motivation and preparation, particularly as they move up to the next grade level, where academic workload increases, independent work encouraged, and expectations rise.
