The class will run from Oct. 2 through May 20, from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Planned activities for toddlers will encourage eager investigation of the world around them.

Within the consistent structure toddlers crave, they will enjoy a balance of quiet activities, spirited music and movement, and plenty of outdoor climbing, running and jumping.

Learning centers will be available with creative art materials, blocks and puzzles for imaginary play, and lots of books.

Circle time will incorporate stories and songs that encourage language skills and social growth.

Children will be guided through activities that strengthen gross motor skills, such as using balance beams and standing on tiptoes; and fine motors skills through play dough and paint brush use.

Toddlers will be able to explore new materials, have positive play experiences and broaden their environment while engaging in a new social experience.
