DARIEN, Conn. - Its not called Contentment Island for nothing. It is the most expensive parcel ever offered for sale in Darien, and if youre willing or able to part with $26 million, then Contentment Island might be the address for you.
The property, situated in the Tokeneke section of Darien and directly on Long Island Sound, features an 8,800-square-foot Georgian-style home, as well as a barn, office and gym, guesthouse, pool and deepwater docks.

According to listing agent Pam Spellane, of Halstead Property of Darien, the waterfront estate setting is dazzling.
