Darien's six polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Click here to find out where you vote. The six polling places are:
- District 1: Leroy Avenue Municipal Building, 35 Leroy Ave.
- District 2: Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road
- District 3: Noroton Heights Fire Dept., 209 Noroton Ave.
- District 4: Hindley School, 10 Nearwater Lane
- District 5: Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road
- District 6: Leroy Avenue Municipal Building, 35 Leroy Ave.
There are two races for the State House of Representatives and two races for the State Senate. Darien residents will also cast their votes for two open seats on the Board of Education. Voters will also choose between Tom Foley and Dannel Malloy in the race for governor, and between Jim Himes and Dan Debicella in the race for Congress. If you are not registered to vote, you can still register on Election Day by bringing a driver's license or other form of identification to the Registrar of Voters office in Town Hall.
Schools will be closed Tuesday to allow for voting. Person-to-Person will be holding an Election Day food drive at all polling places. A collection box will be at each polling place for nonperishable food items that will be used to stock the Person-to-Person Emergency Food Pantry.
