Darien Police received a report from a resident on Edgewood Road that a 2012 Toyota Prius was stolen from the driveway during the overnight hours of Monday, Oct. 28.

While the report stated that the vehicle did not contain any valuables, police say it held a garage door remote and an EZ Pass transponder. The key fob had also been left in the driver’s side door pocket, according to police.

Bridgeport Police contacted officers and confirmed that the vehicle had been recovered on Pennsylvania Avenue in Bridgeport around 9 p.m.

The owner was notified, and the vehicle was towed.
