A woman was at Person-to-Person on Post Road shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 to inquire as to how she could obtain their services, police said.
According to police, as she exited the building, the woman placed her bag down on the ground momentarily, took a few steps forward to see if a ride arrived and when she turned around, the bag was gone.
Police said that inside the bag, there was donated food the woman had just received, personal paperwork and $80 in cash. Neither the victim, nor anyone else in the area at the time of the theft witnessed the suspect taking the bag.
