The employee at Palmer’s Market, located at 246 Heights Road, allegedly had money stolen from her purse while at work on Saturday, Dec. 22 after noontime as well as a previous incident that occurred the week before.
The employee alleges that when she went to retrieve her purse after her shift, she found it unzipped with money missing. The first time, $100 was missing, and the second time, $15 was missing.
Police spoke with the manager of the market, who said that they aren’t aware of any other theft issues at the moment.
