DARIEN, Conn. – Police are investigating a reported theft of jewelry valued at more than $5,000 from a Blueberry Lane home.
The theft appears to have taken place March 24 when a resident of the home threw a party attended by at least 60 people, according to Darien police.
The theft was reported about 10 p.m. March 25, when the homeowner returned to the house, police said. Two necklaces – one valued at $5,000 and another valued at $150 – were reported stolen from a bedroom, police said.
Police said they have yet to identify a suspect, but that the incident is under “active investigation.”
