DARIEN, Conn. -- Hoyt Street, also known as Route 106, was closed in Darien near New Canaan due to a motor vehicle accident involving a utility pole at about 8 a.m. Friday, the Darien Police announced via Twitter @Darien PD.
The accident was between Barringer Road and Talmadge Hill Road, according to state Sen. Bob Duff.
Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes in the area.
