DARIEN, Conn. Catherine "Missy" Lehaney of Stamford and formerly of Darien died Sept. 15 at Stamford Hospital. She was 75.
Lehaney was born in Norwalk to Dr. William E. Gallagher and Catherine Horn Gallagher. She worked as a clerical assistant for various companies for many years.
She is survived by two children, Michelle L. (Sabri) Khessibi, of Stamford, and John W. (Debra) Lehaney, of Ridgefield; five grandchildren; and her half-brother, Edward Walsh, of Pennsylvania. Lehaney was predeceased by her half-sister, Marlyn Walsh.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory in Stamford. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maurice Church in Stamford. Burial will be private.
