Police Search Train for Murder Suspect

DARIEN, Conn. — Police searched a train in Darien on its way to Grand Central, looking for a murder suspect thought to be on the train, said Marjorie Anders, a spokeswoman with Metro-North Railroad.

The search was conducted Wednesday by Darien and Metropolitan Transit Authority police, aided by a K-9 unit, looking for Rocky Williams, who is wanted for the murder of two people, a WTNH article said. The train was delayed about 16 minutes before continuing on to New York, Anders said.

A video on WTNH’s website taken by a passenger shows several armed policemen walking through the train looking for Williams.

Williams is wanted in the shooting death of his wife and another man Dec. 15 in Hartford, the article said.
