Pelley’s office was being emptied Tuesday while he was away on assignment for “60 Minutes,” where he will be permanently shifted, Page Six said.
Word is that Pelley, whose ratings are down, does not get along well with CBS News President David Rhodes, Page Six said.
Pelley took over as anchor of the “CBS Evening News” in 2011 after Katie Couric left.
The Darien home owned by Pelley and his wife is up for sale for $3.985 million, a bit less than the $4 million they paid for it.
