DARIEN, Conn. -- State Rep. Terrie Wood (R-Darien, Rowayton) and the National Kidney Foundation will host a free presentation on kidney health and how to become a living donor at
Darien Library on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Speakers will include:
- Karen Corbin, NKF Executive Director, opening remarks;
- Richard Formica, MD Kidney Health, Living Donation (Internal Medical Nephrology—Renal Transplant Care, Yale);
- and two Altruistic Donors, Ned Brooks (Living Donor, Personal Experience) and Connie Velander (Living Donor, Personal Experience).
The event is from 7 to 8 p.m.
