New Canaan Mansion Showcases Top Designers

It’s not often you get to peak into a multi-million dollar home, but Thursday, April 14, you’ll have a chance to do just that at 441 Brookside Road in New Canaan. Rachel Walsh and Inger Stringfellow, real estate agents with William Pitt/Sotheby's who are selling the home, have planned a special evening bash, which will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The builder, Don White of Connecticut Homes, will also be on hand to answer all your questions about the house, which is listed for sale at $5.995 million.

Seven top interior designers from Connecticut will be showing examples of their design style to give you ideas about what you could do in this super home. They'll also be giving free design tips. There's a raffle for a two-hour consultation with each of the them. The designers are George Snead of The Wakefield Design Group, Carey Karlan of Last Detail, Julie De Terlizzi of D & D Fine Homes, Christine Kelly of Kelly Interiors, Parker Rogers II of Parker and Company Interior Design, Patricia La Pierre of Greenwich-Design-Architects and Marcia Harris of Harris Interiors.

Tasty nibbles will be provided by Mixed Nuts, The Farmer’s Table and Rosie’s, and the wine and champagne will flow courtesy of Perry Gaa of William Pitt Mortgage. If you'd like to attend, call Rachel at (203) 912-5908 or Inger at (203) 321-9361.
